Where are the bicycle cops? Millions of dollars have been spent on this squad which was supposed to hit the streets since July with 250 men. It was brandied about as the latest unit, highly trained, to fight crime and to take back the streets from the bandits.
But after three months I have not seen one bicycle officer on the beat.
Even at the Independence Day parade there was no bicycle unit on show. So where has the money gone? The acting CoP should shed some light on the missing bicycle squad.
