Caribbean-based soft­ware firmTeleios Sys­temshas won the Mi­crosoft 2014 YouthSpark Cit­i­zen­ship Award for its Code Jam pro­gramme.

The lo­cal­com­pa­ny was ho­n­oured among a glob­al field of top Mi­crosoft part­ners for demon­strat­ing ex­cel­lence in in­no­va­tion and im­ple­men­ta­tion of cus­tomer so­lu­tions based on Mi­crosoft tech­nol­o­gy.

"Recog­ni­tion for our Teleios Code Jam (TCJ) pro­gramme is par­tic­u­lar­ly spe­cial for us since that pro­gramme rep­re­sents the heart of Teleios," said Kevin Khelawan, the com­pa­ny'schief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer and co-founder.

Awards were pre­sent­ed in mul­ti­ple cat­e­gories, with win­ners cho­sen from a set of more than 2,800 en­trants from 117 dif­fer­ent coun­tries world­wide.
