The search is on for thieves who stole a po­lice of­fi­cer's car at his Gas­par­il­lo home ear­li­er this week.

Re­ports say the po­lice con­sta­ble at­tached to the Cou­va CID parked his sil­ver Ti­i­da at his Morne Roache, Gas­par­il­lo home around 10.45 pm on Mon­day. How­ev­er, he dis­cov­ered his car miss­ing the fol­low­ing morn­ing around 5.30 am.

His tac­ti­cal vest, belt and a pair of hand­cuffs were in the car. Cpl Roop­nar­ine is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
