The broth­er of kid­nap vic­tim Ria Sookdeo was shot mu­ti­ple times at his garage in Phillip­ine yes­ter­day.

Richard Ra­jku­mar, 45, a me­chan­ic, is fight­ing for his life at the In­ten­sive Care Unit at the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal.

Ra­jku­mar was speak­ing to a cus­tomer in front of his busi­ness Richard and Sons along Sir La­m­ond Ave around 4:15 pm, when a black Nis­san Ti­i­da pulled up.

The front seat pas­sen­ger came out and fired sev­er­al shots at him. His un­cle rushed him to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal where he un­der­went emer­gency surgery. Ra­jku­mar’s sis­ter was kid­napped

on Sep­tem­ber 22, 2016, by men min­utes af­ter she dropped her chil­dren off at their pri­ma­ry school in Di­a­mond Vil­lage, San Fer­nan­do. Since her ab­duc­tion,

her where­abouts has re­mained a mys­tery.
