Carib Brew­ery re­cent­ly host­ed its Dis­trib­u­tor Con­fer­ence where rep­re­sen­ta­tives from 14 coun­tries were part of the event, themed Build­ing Great Brands To­geth­er. More than 30 rep­re­sen­ta­tives were present at the con­fer­ence, which was held at the Hy­att Re­gency, Wright­son Road, Port-of-Spain.

It brought to­geth­er dis­trib­u­tors from An­tigua, Bar­ba­dos, Cana­da, Cay­man Is­lands, Do­mini­ca, Grena­da, Guade­loupe, Guyana, Puer­to Ri­co, St Croix, St Kitts, St Lu­cia, St Thomas, St Vin­cent, Tor­to­la BVI, Mi­a­mi (USA) and Swe­den. Group ses­sions in­clud­ed top­ics such as mar­ket­ing, stor­age and han­dling.

Ex­port di­rec­tor, Dou­glas Hen­der­son, was quot­ed in a re­lease as say­ing: "The con­fer­ence was well re­ceived by our dis­trib­u­tors. Nine­ty per cent of our in­vit­ed teams at­tend­ed and they par­tic­i­pat­ed ful­ly in every ses­sion."

The re­lease stat­ed par­tic­i­pants had a chance to ex­pe­ri­ence T&T's nightlife via planned bar hop­ping ac­tiv­i­ties, with a spe­cial stop at All Out at the Queens Park Oval, to be part of the Pass D Carib Pro­mo­tion cur­rent­ly fea­tured on the Carib Beer Web site (www.caribbeer.com). Carib Brew­ery al­so gave spe­cial awards to key dis­trib­u­tors dur­ing the event in recog­ni­tion of case vol­ume shipped in 2009.
