A dis­mem­bered male body was dis­cov­ered in a bushy area in Senon Vil­lage, Siparia, yes­ter­day.

Based on in­for­ma­tion re­ceived, po­lice went to the area around 3 pm and found the body with chop wounds.

The legs were miss­ing from knees.

Po­lice said a na­tion­al iden­ti­fi­ca­tion card was found near­by but up to last evening the po­lice had not of­fi­cial­ly con­firmed the iden­ti­ty.

Of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau Re­gion III are in­ves­ti­gat­ing. —Sascha Wil­son
