Min­is­ter of For­eign and CARI­COM Af­fairs, Dr. Amery Browne, has ex­tend­ed con­grat­u­la­tions to US Pres­i­dent Elect Don­ald Trump.

In a state­ment, Dr. Browne said:

“The Unit­ed States of Amer­i­ca re­mains a most crit­i­cal part­ner for the Re­pub­lic of Trinidad and To­ba­go. We con­grat­u­late Pres­i­dent Trump on his vic­to­ry and look for­ward to ex­cel­lent and pro­duc­tive re­la­tions with him and his team in 2025 and be­yond.”

The Min­is­ter’s state­ment added:

“The Min­istry of For­eign and CARI­COM Af­fairs is pre­pared and ful­ly ca­pa­ble of do­ing every­thing that is re­quired for the ad­vance­ment of our re­la­tion­ship with the new US Ad­min­is­tra­tion, al­ways with the best in­ter­ests of Trinidad and To­ba­go and the Caribbean Com­mu­ni­ty at heart.”
