The Four Roads fire station has been temporarily closed for sanitisation after an officer tested positive for COVID-19.
In a press release issued this afternoon, the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service stated as a precautionary measure all other personnel who came into contact with the said officer have been advised to self-quarantine until they have been tested and cleared by the Ministry of Health.
Additionally, the Station has been sanitized and the process was repeated since then to ensure that it is once more habitable for personnel to resume their daily duties.
Furthermore, temporary coverage for the areas serviced by the Four Roads Fire Station has been implemented and all emergency calls can be directed to either one of the following:

The Chief Fire Officer assures the public that the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service will continue to comply with the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health throughout all its Divisions during this pandemic and employs citizens and employees to exercise sanitization and social distancing practices.
