There is word today that local entertainer Ghetto Flex has died.
Reports reaching Guardian Media suggest that Flex, real name Hilton Dalzall Jr, passed away sometime this morning, however, a cause has not yet been revealed.
As news of Dalzell's passing made the rounds on social media, several people offered condolences, including fellow artistes.
Fay Ann Lyons Alvarez was among those to pay tribute.
On her Instagram page, she posted an image of Ghetto Flex with the words, "Another RIP to an artiste that gave significantly to the industry. We have lost another. Rest in peace Ghetto Flex. Those who were able to have seen and experienced your energy! Your music lives"
Dalzell was born on September 14, 1972, and started his journey at the tender age of five guided by his father Hilton Senior, an experienced singer-songwriter.
By the age of eight, he was awarded the crown of Junior Calypso Monarch.
