A man was arrested and a firearm and ammunition seized after he was shot near a popular bar in El Dorado yesterday.
The man was taken for medical attention to treat a gunshot wound to his right leg.
The 22-year-old man of St Michael Road, Tacarigua, was arrested for the possession of a Taurus 9mm pistol with a magazine and 12 rounds 9mm ammunition.
