The new mothers of four babies born on Mother’s Day at the San Fernando General Hospital were honoured by the South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) yesterday.
They distributed hampers of supplies to help pamper the new mummies in the post natal ward of the hospital.
The first baby to be born on Mother’s Day at that hospital was Adrian Hicks, just after midnight to third time mother Kizzy Hicks and first time father Andradie Green.
Seven-and-a-half pound baby Arveena Gunness was the third baby to be born at the hospital. She was also born just after midnight to first time parents Danny and Dianna Gunness, of Barrackpore.
The second baby was born at 3.55 am and the fourth was born at 7.18 am. Their parents did not want to be interviewed.
