Sascha Wil­son

A po­lice of­fi­cer and an uniden­ti­fied man were killed dur­ing a shoot­ing out in Guapo this morn­ing. An­oth­er of­fi­cer was in­jured. 

Con­sta­ble Kr­ish­na Ba­na­har at­tached to the Siparia CID suc­cumbed to his in­juries at the Point Fortin Hos­pi­tal around 5.20 am.

The of­fi­cers were on an ex­er­cise at St Rose Street, Gon­za­les Vil­lage when they were shot at.

The de­tails of the in­ci­dent are still un­clear.
