An unforeseen delay in completing repair work to ruptured pipeline at LP 1548 Southern Main Road, La Brea, is the reason why parts of La Brea are still experiencing an interruption in their water supply, but relief should come by day’s end.
According to an advisory from the Water and Sewerage Authority, the extensive emergency repair works are now scheduled to be completed by 6:00 pm today, Wednesday 15th June 2022.
WASA says a limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request.
Areas affected by the service disruption include Point D’or, Newlands, Cassava Alley, Belle View, Bassa Hill (high points), parts of Chinese Village, Pierre Road inclusive of all side streets.
