The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising the public of emergency repair works being conducted on a rupture on the 33-inch transmission pipeline, along the San Fernando Bypass Road, San Fernando.
According to this press release, the repair works are expected to be completed by midnight on Thursday 26th May 2022.

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South-West Trinidad who are presently experiencing a disruption in their water supply that, this is due to a rupture on the 33-inch transmission pipeline, along the San Fernando Bypass Road, San Fernando. Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by midnight on Thursday 26th May 2022.
Areas affected include:
Gulf View, Bel Air, Coconut Drive, Green Acres, La Romain, Union Hall, Duncan Village, Palmiste, Sunkist, Phillipine, Debe, Cocoyea, Pleasantville, Rousillac, South Oropuche, Aripero, Chinese Village, Avocat Village, Pepper Village, Fyzabad Guapo Road, Siparia Old Road, Siparia, San Francique, Quarry Village, Degannes Village, Syne Village, La Brea Trace, Penal Rock Road.
Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up to 48 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
