Kevin Sinclair will play no further part for the Guyana Harpy Eagles in the ongoing Regional Super50 tournament, following a request from the Harpy Eagles management to have him replaced in the squad.
His departure from the team follows an internal report from management, although the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) did not provide specific reasons for its decision.
In the three matches played in the Super50 Cup, Kevin Sinclair scored 14 runs and grabbed three wickets.
The 24-year-old will be replaced by all-rounder Junior Sinclair, who is expected to be available for Tuesday’s (November 5) fourth round match against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes.
“The Guyana Cricket Board announces a necessary squad adjustment for the ongoing CG United Super50 tournament.
“Following an internal report from the Guyana Harpy Eagles management, it has been decided that Kevin Sinclair will no longer be participating in this year’s competition,” the GCB said in a statement.
“Junior Sinclair will be the replacement for Kevin Sinclair. Sinclair’s arrival is expected ahead of the team’s next match, and we look forward to seeing his contribution on the field.”
