A tribute to the late Godfrey Sealy, entitled HIV/Aids: The Human Touch, will be held on December 1 at the Crowne Plaza, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain. The workshop is being hosted in memory of the HIV activist, who was also HIV positive for more 30 years. He worked tirelessly towards the cause, partnering with notable organisations such NACC, UNAIDS, CARE and many other NGOs.?This event is an educational base awareness initiative, which is free to the general public and will run from 9.30 am. to 2.30 pm.
The main objective of this initiative is to transform the lives of Trinbagonians towards the realisation that no one should discriminate, stigmatise or judge, but rather support each other by caring, respecting and loving our fellow men. A number of Sealy's colleagues will be appearing on the agenda.?The event will be repeated on December 2 and 3 at other venues. In order to attend, registration is required, since it is a catered event.?For further information, call Alana Ramlal at 624-9713 or e-mail to annmariesealy@hotmail.com.
