A trib­ute to the late God­frey Sealy, en­ti­tled HIV/Aids: The Hu­man Touch, will be held on De­cem­ber 1 at the Crowne Plaza, Wright­son Road, Port-of-Spain. The work­shop is be­ing host­ed in mem­o­ry of the HIV ac­tivist, who was al­so HIV pos­i­tive for more 30 years. He worked tire­less­ly to­wards the cause, part­ner­ing with no­table or­gan­i­sa­tions such NACC, UN­AIDS, CARE and many oth­er NGOs.?This event is an ed­u­ca­tion­al base aware­ness ini­tia­tive, which is free to the gen­er­al pub­lic and will run from 9.30 am. to 2.30 pm.

The main ob­jec­tive of this ini­tia­tive is to trans­form the lives of Trin­bag­o­ni­ans to­wards the re­al­i­sa­tion that no one should dis­crim­i­nate, stig­ma­tise or judge, but rather sup­port each oth­er by car­ing, re­spect­ing and lov­ing our fel­low men. A num­ber of Sealy's col­leagues will be ap­pear­ing on the agen­da.?The event will be re­peat­ed on De­cem­ber 2 and 3 at oth­er venues.
