Hyundai Motors has officials handed over a fleet of vehicles to the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Fifa U-17 Women's World Cup.David Jardin CEO of Neal and Massy Automotive Limited, (the Official dealers of Hyundai Motors in T&T) handed over the keys to the vehicles yesterday to Nataki Kerr, deputy CEO of the LOC, during a short ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The 55 specially branded vehicles, which include a number of SUVs and mini buses will be used to transport all officials of the tournament over the next month. Nataki Kerr, Deputy CEO of the LOC hailed the handing over as a "symbolic gesture of a growing partnership."
This year, Hyundai celebrates its 11th year of association with Fifa.
David Jardin CEO of Neal and Massy Automotive Limited stated that "Football is a universally understood language and a powerful unifying force that can pull people of all nationalities, races and creeds together. "We are proud to continue this partnership with FIFA". Meanwhile, the U-17 women will take on the Republic of Ireland today in a warm-up match.
