The Kent Col­lege Hock­ey of Eng­land coached by T&T cap­tain Kwand­wane Browne will ar­rive in T&T on De­cem­ber 8 for a one-week tour. Dur­ing its stay in T&T, the Eng­lish school will play sev­er­al in­door and out­door match­es against a few lo­cal clubs as well as the T&T Un­der-18 De­vel­op­ment Pro­gramme Elite Boys' and Girls' teams. Kent Col­lege of Can­ter­bury is a top in­de­pen­dent school with a very strong hock­ey tra­di­tion. They have won a num­ber of na­tion­al ti­tles with both their girls' and boys' teams and cur­rent­ly boasts three ju­nior na­tion­al Eng­land in­ter­na­tion­al play­ers all of whom will be in ac­tion in T&T.

The schools' strong rep­u­ta­tion has al­so meant they have at­tract­ed ex­cel­lent over­seas play­ers who have joined the team from Ger­many. Nick Clark is al­so part of the coach­ing staff with Browne, the present play­er/coach of the Can­ter­bury men's hock­ey team which com­petes in the Eng­lish Hock­ey League Pre­mier Di­vi­sion. Clark, Di­rec­tor of Sport at Kent Col­lege al­so coach­es the Eng­land Un­der-21 women and Can­ter­bury women's team which has six stu­dents from Kent Col­lege on its ros­ter. The Can­ter­bury women present­ly sit at the top of the Eng­lish Pre­mier Di­vi­sion ta­ble.
