The Kent College Hockey of England coached by T&T captain Kwandwane Browne will arrive in T&T on December 8 for a one-week tour. During its stay in T&T, the English school will play several indoor and outdoor matches against a few local clubs as well as the T&T Under-18 Development Programme Elite Boys' and Girls' teams. Kent College of Canterbury is a top independent school with a very strong hockey tradition. They have won a number of national titles with both their girls' and boys' teams and currently boasts three junior national England international players all of whom will be in action in T&T.
The schools' strong reputation has also meant they have attracted excellent overseas players who have joined the team from Germany. Nick Clark is also part of the coaching staff with Browne, the present player/coach of the Canterbury men's hockey team which competes in the English Hockey League Premier Division. Clark, Director of Sport at Kent College also coaches the England Under-21 women and Canterbury women's team which has six students from Kent College on its roster. The Canterbury women presently sit at the top of the English Premier Division table.
