Sen­sei Dar­ryl Williams, sixth Dan and chief in­struc­tor for Bas­sai Karate Do­jo-In­ter­na­tion­al (BKD-I), will be trav­el­ling to Ed­mon­ton, Cana­da to con­duct a tech­ni­cal work­shop from to­mor­row to Tues­day.The work­shop, which will be on ad­vanced ka­ta and bunkai as it re­lates to in­ter­na­tion­al com­pe­ti­tion, is be­ing arranged by his stu­dent, Sen­sei Nat­er­am Seecha­ran, TTKF del­e­gate for Al­ber­ta and a karate­ka for more than 20 years.

Sen­sei Williams will al­so be con­duct­ing a ref­er­ee course in ac­cor­dance with the World Union of Karate-Do Or­gan­i­sa­tions (WUKO).

Williams is a WUKO chief ref­er­ee and the on­ly one from the re­gion (USA, Cana­da and the Caribbean). He is ex­pect­ed to be ap­point­ed to the WUKO Ref­er­ee Com­mis­sion soon.
