The As­so­ci­a­tion of Char­tered Cer­ti­fied Ac­coun­tants (AC­CA) has re-launched its Find an Ac­coun­tant mi­crosite to make it eas­i­er to lo­cate a pro­fes­sion­al­ly qual­i­fied AC­CA ac­coun­tant or AC­CA ac­coun­tan­cy prac­tice.

The new site al­lows users to not on­ly search by lo­ca­tion, but al­so by ser­vices of­fered by the AC­CA mem­ber or prac­tice. This means that firms who of­fer au­dit, or spe­cialise in small busi­ness ac­counts, for ex­am­ple can pub­li­cise these ser­vices to po­ten­tial new clients.

Bren­da Lee Tang, head of AC­CA Caribbean, said: "We've de­signed the site to make it easy for peo­ple to find ex­act­ly what they are look­ing for. Many ac­coun­tan­cy prac­tices spe­cialise in cer­tain fields, or of­fer ser­vices such as au­dit or in­sol­ven­cy. The new Find an Ac­coun­tant pages al­lows AC­CA mem­bers to tell clients ex­act­ly what their ar­eas of ex­per­tise are, mak­ing it easy for peo­ple and busi­ness­es to find the right AC­CA ac­coun­tant, and the AC­CA mem­ber or prac­tice to reach new clients.

"Find­ing the right ac­coun­tant is huge­ly im­por­tant. Se­lect­ing the right AC­CA ac­coun­tant means you are choos­ing a trust­ed and ex­pert ad­vi­sor to han­dle busi­ness mat­ters or per­son­al fi­nances.
