The Col­lege of Sci­ence Tech­nol­o­gy and Ap­plied Arts of Trinidad and To­ba­go (Costaatt) will host its sec­ond an­nu­al Run for Life 5k road race to­mor­row, start­ing at 6 am at its City Cam­pus, 9-11 Melville Lane, Port-of-Spain. The race will end at the cam­pus and medals will be dis­trib­uted to every­one fin­ish­ing the race. Spe­cial prizes will be award­ed to first, sec­ond and third place win­ners in var­i­ous cat­e­gories. Run for Life 5k is an un­der­tak­ing of Costaatt's De­part­ment of Stu­dent Life and Ath­let­ics, and is part of the de­part­ment's Sport for All ob­jec­tive, which en­cour­ages Costaatt's 11,600 stu­dents and 500 staff to en­gage in healthy phys­i­cal ac­tiv­i­ties. The race will be sanc­tioned and ad­min­is­tered by the North Amer­i­can, Cen­tral Amer­i­can, and Caribbean Ath­let­ics As­so­ci­a­tion (NACAC). Mem­bers of the pub­lic can reg­is­ter at the De­part­ment of Stu­dent Life and Ath­let­ics, Lev­el 2, Costaatt City Cam­pus, Melville Lane, Port-of-Spain.

The reg­is­tra­tion fee is $30 to com­pete in the fol­low­ing cat­e­gories:

• Open Cat­e­go­ry (men and women)

• Un­der-20 (boys and girls)

• Over-40 (men and women)

• Costaatt Stu­dents and Alum­ni

• Costaatt Staff
