The College of Science Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (Costaatt) will host its second annual Run for Life 5k road race tomorrow, starting at 6 am at its City Campus, 9-11 Melville Lane, Port-of-Spain. The race will end at the campus and medals will be distributed to everyone finishing the race. Special prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners in various categories. Run for Life 5k is an undertaking of Costaatt's Department of Student Life and Athletics, and is part of the department's Sport for All objective, which encourages Costaatt's 11,600 students and 500 staff to engage in healthy physical activities. The race will be sanctioned and administered by the North American, Central American, and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC). Members of the public can register at the Department of Student Life and Athletics, Level 2, Costaatt City Campus, Melville Lane, Port-of-Spain.
The registration fee is $30 to compete in the following categories:
• Open Category (men and women)
• Under-20 (boys and girls)
• Over-40 (men and women)
• Costaatt Students and Alumni
• Costaatt Staff
