Af­ter be­ing barred from en­ter­tain­ing Ba­jans two years ago, pop­u­lar?Ja­maican dance­hall artist Mava­do has been cleared to en­ter Bar­ba­dos and is slat­ed to per­form here next week. The man be­hind the pro­mo­tion, George "Jack" Far­rell, told re­porters at a press brief­ing that he had been grant­ed ap­proval to bring the singer to per­form here, notwith­stand­ing the con­tro­ver­sy that had sur­round­ed a planned ap­pear­ance in 2010.
