Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar did the right thing in removing former Minister Mary King though the jury is still out on some aspects, according to former UNC leader Basdeo Panday. He added: "If Mrs King knew her firm was applying to her own ministry for a contract, I think she ought to have declared her interest and not influenced it. "But the problem isn't over. She said the Prime Minister knew about it and though the PM denied it, it raised the question of whether Mrs King could be a boldfaced stranger to the truth. So to my mind, the jury is still out."
