The Friends of Lord Nelson hosted “A Musical Evening with Lord Nelson” held in his honor on July 30, 2022, under the distinguished patronage of the Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley.
Lord Nelson “Nelo” who turned 91 on July 27 delighted the enthusiastic audience with hits such as “Lala Jam Back”, “Disco Daddy”, “King Liar”, “One Family” and “Meh Lover” which marked the end of the enjoyable evening concert.
Sharing the stage with calypsonian Robert Nelson “Lord Nelson” were Devon Seales, Oscar B (Oscar Dennis Benjamin), Ronnie McIntosh, and Signal Hill Alumni Choir, with musical accompaniment by Errol Ince Music Makers Orchestra.
National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds presented a token of appreciation on behalf of the Government and people of Trinidad and Tobago.
The event was powered by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, NLCB, Caribbean Airlines, and Carib Brewery.
