The Chris Balbosa Institute of Performing Arts brought the spirit of praise to life with Marvelous: A Total Praise Experience at Naparima Bowl, San Fernando, on May 31. The event showcased raw talent, soulful worship, and electrifying performances.

From the very first note, the atmosphere was electric. The choir, joined by Pastor Dr Karlene Bynoe-Sookoo, opened the evening with Let Everything That Has Breath Praise the Lord.

They were followed by the Children’s Choir with a touching rendition of The Lord Be Magnified.

Chris Balbosa herself delivered a soul-touching performance of Silent Guest, and was given a standing ovation. Her voice, rich with emotion, transformed the Bowl into a place of worship, where every lyric resonate in the hearts of the audience.

Brendon Small sang the heartfelt My Response, while Dariel Lara from the Siparia Open Bible Dance Ministry presented a dynamic dance pantomime titled Set the Atmosphere.

The choir, featuring Candace Caton, then delivered a breathtaking performance of Total Praise.

Sean Daniel, who is no stranger to the stage, commanded the crowd’s attention with a medley of songs, including Worship the Lord, Call Him Up, and Can’t Stop Praising His Name.

Kellisha Collins opened the second half of the show with Let Us Worship, followed by Randall Payne singing How Great Thou Art, and Renee Fortune performing When God Walks In and Oil.

The ensemble, accompanied by Reuel Lynch, did an African Medley.

The night ended in worship when Blessed Messenger declared Never Fail Me Yet and Can’t Complain, leaving patrons spiritually fulfilled.
