It was a dou­ble cel­e­bra­tion for the Ho­sein fam­i­ly of San Juan, re­cent­ly when 23-year-old Sa­dia Ka­reemah Ho­sein and her fa­ther, Aslim Ho­sein, a po­lice in­spec­tor of the TTPS Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions, both grad­u­at­ed with Ho­n­ours in their re­spec­tive line of stud­ies.

The young Ho­sein grad­u­at­ed from the St Au­gus­tine Cam­pus of the Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies (UWI) with a BSc in Bio­med­ical Tech­nol­o­gy (Spe­cial) Up­per Sec­ond Class Ho­n­ours. A for­mer stu­dent of AS­JA Girls' Col­lege, Sa­dia is al­so the re­cip­i­ent of pass­es in Math­e­mat­ics, Chem­istry, Bi­ol­o­gy and Physics from the Fac­ul­ty of Sci­ences and Tech­nol­o­gy NI Pro­gramme (UWI).

She al­so grad­u­at­ed with a full CSEC cer­tifi­cate in­clu­sive of pass­es in Math­e­mat­ics, Eng­lish Lit­er­a­ture, Ad­di­tion­al Math­e­mat­ics, Ge­og­ra­phy, Chem­istry, Bi­ol­o­gy and Physics.

The young woman has ded­i­cat­ed her suc­cess to her moth­er, Ko­r­isha.

She al­so cel­e­brat­ed with her fa­ther, a mem­ber of the po­lice ser­vice for more than 32 years, who re­ceived his BSc in Law and sub­se­quent­ly at­tained his Post Grad­u­ate Diplo­ma in Law from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Stafford­shire.
