The track, pro­duced by Dan­ny Liam Kehlen­beck un­der the TORS la­bel, of­fers a wit­ty and in­sight­ful take on mod­ern dat­ing in the age of so­cial me­dia. What be­gan as a re­flec­tion on fash­ion evolved in­to a deep­er com­men­tary on how emo­jis and dig­i­tal cues shape re­la­tion­ships to­day.

Re­leased on June 5 dur­ing a spe­cial evening of live mu­sic and en­ter­tain­ment at the Bri­an Lara Man­sion in Port-of-Spain, the sin­gle has al­ready gar­nered at­ten­tion with air­play on sev­er­al lo­cal ra­dio sta­tions. The track promis­es to be a sig­nif­i­cant ad­di­tion to the T&T mu­sic scene.

Phillips cham­pi­ons com­mu­ni­ty fit­ness and well­ness, no­tably as the founder and pro­mot­er of Cy­cling on the Av­enue, an event draw­ing cy­clists from lo­cal and in­ter­na­tion­al scenes. His Keep Mov­ing Fam­i­ly & Fit­ness Sun­days in Diego Mar­tin, a cher­ished 15-year tra­di­tion, ac­tive­ly en­cour­ages fam­i­lies to par­tic­i­pate in healthy ac­tiv­i­ties.

Be­yond his ath­let­ic en­deav­ours, Phillips is an ac­com­plished vi­su­al artist. His ex­hi­bi­tion, A Re­turn to Pas­sion, show­cased his deep ap­pre­ci­a­tion for Trinidad and To­ba­go’s wildlife and scenic beau­ty, re­flect­ing his com­mit­ment to cap­tur­ing the na­tion’s essence through art.

Phillips’ ded­i­ca­tion to sport and com­mu­ni­ty de­vel­op­ment has been recog­nised at the na­tion­al lev­el. In 2022, he was award­ed the Hum­ming­bird Medal Gold for his ser­vice to sport and its de­vel­op­ment in Trinidad and To­ba­go.

Phillips on­ly picked up the gui­tar in 2020 dur­ing the pan­dem­ic, and with­in just a few months, he was per­form­ing live. Since then, he’s writ­ten over 30 orig­i­nal songs and even head­lined a con­cert at Movi­eTowne’s Fi­es­ta Plaza.
