The alum­ni as­so­ci­a­tion of Bish­op Anstey High School, Port-of-Spain (BAHS) held its an­nu­al lun­cheon on Ju­ly 4, 2026, to ben­e­fit the school’s roof.

Fa­mil­iar­ly known as The Bish­op Mafia, the event was themed The Gath­er­ing: Re­turn of the Mafia, in keep­ing with the gath­er­ing of the sis­ter­hood as a fam­i­ly tra­di­tion.

Like true mafia boss­es, some sis­ters donned tra­di­tion­al mafia-favoured fe­do­ra and hom­burg hats, while oth­ers mod­ernised the look. Ac­ces­sories were al­so a hit, rang­ing from the school tie to sus­penders, pearls and a toy ver­sion of a favourite mafia weapon—the Thomp­son sub­ma­chine gun.

The sis­ters de­liv­ered their plan for a haute cou­ture oc­ca­sion of fash­ion on and off the cat­walk, with em­pha­sis on the school’s brand colours of red, black, navy blue and white.

Al­so present was an ex­cit­ed for­mer teacher, 101-year-old Au­drey Mc­Dow­ell, who did her thing from her wheel­chair. New pres­i­dent of the alum­ni as­so­ci­a­tion, Camille Dal­ton-Fred­er­ick, wished to thank her team and the BAHS fam­i­ly.
