Thou­sands of rev­ellers turned out for the re­cent­ly held Iron Park fete on Fri­day night, which de­liv­ered a pul­sat­ing blend of steel­pan pow­er and so­ca en­er­gy at O2 Park in Ch­aguara­mas. From ear­ly evening, the venue was packed with pa­trons wav­ing rags, danc­ing in the mud-free open space and soak­ing up per­for­mances from some of the coun­try’s top steel or­ches­tras along­side pop­u­lar DJs who kept the tem­po high. The clash of iron and rhythm cre­at­ed an elec­tric at­mos­phere, with each band push­ing the lim­its as cheers erupt­ed from the en­thu­si­as­tic crowd.
