Reez Mu­sic rock/fu­sion group will add to T&T's melt­ing pot mu­si­cal brew land­scape on Sat­ur­day (Jan­u­ary 31), when they per­form at an event where part pro­ceeds go to the UNICEF sup­port­ed ini­tia­tive "The Child Friend­ly Space." This fa­cil­i­tates a safe en­vi­ron­ment for mi­grant chil­dren to learn and play.

The space falls un­der the Parish Min­istry for Mi­grant and Refugees of Our La­dy of Mt Carmel RC Church in Cara­pichaima.

The con­cert venue is the Dalai Lla­ma, Port-of-Spai from 8 pm.

Reez Mu­sic, led by T&T vet­er­an rock mu­si­cian Ri­az Mas­soom, has cul­ti­vat­ed a fol­low­ing at lo­cal venues for its soul­ful genre-blend­ing port­fo­lio span­ning rock, folk, so­ca, rap and oth­er con­tem­po­rary in­flu­ences in pol­ished out­put. Core RM mu­sic in­clud its trend­ing com­po­si­tion, Breathe.

Mas­soom's artis­tic jour­ney as vo­cal­ist/gui­tarist of two decades now in­cludes a fam­i­ly col­lab­o­ra­tion with his daugh­ter Sabry Stew­art per­form­ing along­side. - Gail Alexan­der
