“She Come To Jam,” held at the John Cu­pid Car­ni­val Vil­lage on Fri­day, brought to­geth­er an ex­tra­or­di­nary line­up of fe­male so­ca pow­er­hous­es—Nailah Black­man, Na­dia Bat­son, Patrice Roberts, Ter­ri Lyons, De­stra Gar­cia, Fay-Ann Lyons, Nes­sa Prep­py, Jadel, Dru­patee and Nisha B.

Rarely do the stars align for so many of the genre’s lead­ing acts to share one stage on the same night, and even more so at a free con­cert. The mas­sive crowd was treat­ed to hit af­ter hit from the so­ca di­vas, in a high-en­er­gy show that ran smooth­ly from start to fin­ish.
