Pupils and staff of the St Charles (Tu­na­puna) Girls’ Ro­man Catholic School pre­sent­ed their Christ­mas pro­duc­tion, ti­tled Joy to the World, at the au­di­to­ri­um of the Bish­op Anstey High School East/Trin­i­ty Col­lege East High School last Sat­ur­day.

The event fea­tured pupils from all the year groups—In­fants to SEA —per­form­ing Christ­mas-themed pieces which told the sto­ry of the birth of Je­sus Christ as told from the Joy­ful Mys­ter­ies and the Holy Bible.

A sold-out au­di­to­ri­um thor­ough­ly en­joyed the per­for­mances, which in­clud­ed car­ols, parang, dance, recitals, in­stru­men­tals, a can­dle­light pro­ces­sion and even sign lan­guage pieces. In fact, at the end, the crowd gave the pupils a stand­ing ova­tion for an out­stand­ing ef­fort.
