The Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago hosted the opening of its Annual May Members’ Exhibition, Traces of Us, on May 6. The event was a celebration of local artistry, attracting a large crowd of art enthusiasts, community members, and supporters of the arts.
Guests enjoyed an impressive display of over 70 pieces created by talented member artists, showcasing a variety of mediums including charcoal, graphite, gouache, watercolour, acrylic, oil, mixed media, upcycled metal, wood, and photography. The exhibition highlights the rich creativity and diverse expressions of Trinidad and Tobago’s artistic community.
The evening was filled with engaging conversations as attendees explored the artworks and connected with the artists behind them. The exhibition will remain open to the public until May 29 during gallery hours, which are Tuesdays to Saturdays from 12 noon to 6 pm.
The Art Society encourages everyone to visit the exhibition and support local culture, celebrating the artistic journeys of their members and the stories conveyed through their work.
