Soca star Yung Bredda (Akhenaton Lewis) headlined the Grenada leg of Sandals and Beaches Resorts All That’s Good Road Show on May 8, climaxing the event with his Carnival 2025 hit, The Greatest Bend Over.

On his arrival at the resort, Yung Bredda was treated to a welcome party headed by manager of public relations Deleon Forrester and her team.

They serenaded him with a reworked version of some of the song’s lyrics, singing: “Take it easy let us do the work, you don’t have to, wild up yourself.

“Welcome to the spice, welcome to the spice, in sweet Grenada, in sweet Grenada, Oh!”

The Road Show, held for the first time in Grenada, took place at Morne Rouge Playing Field.

There were performances by some of the island’s top artistes, including Tallpree, Jab King, Terra D Governor and Guana.

Yung Bredda delivered a “show-stopping performance,” a release on the event stated.

The road show was described as a “one-of-a-kind employee engagement experience offered by Sandals and Beaches Resort with a fresh twist, to connect with their team members.

“Sandals Grenada team members participated in a series of thrilling and often comical games and challenges, each with exciting prizes that ranged from luxury items, appliances and electronics, to gift baskets, certificates, cruises and hotel stays.”

The event was hosted by the resort’s corporate manager for employee experience Jamie Green and media personality Pink Fabulous.

Green said it was “Not just a social event, but an immersive, all-out celebration, from the music and food, to the local entertainers and incredible prizes; all crafted to bring joy, value and celebration to our team.”

Managing director of Sandals Resorts in the Eastern Caribbean Winston Anderson said the event was one of the most phenomenal experiences he has had at Sandals.
