T&T so­ca sen­sa­tion Yung Bred­da (Akhen­aton Lewis) says he is “hum­bled and ex­cit­ed” as his run­away hit, The Great­est Bend Over (Take It Easy), gets a fresh spin with a star-stud­ded remix fea­tur­ing US R&B/Pop pow­er­house Chlöe Bai­ley and Ghana­ian vi­ral star Moliy. The remix promis­es to take the an­them’s glob­al mo­men­tum to even high­er heights.

Al­ready crowned the sound of the sum­mer across the Caribbean and be­yond, the remix sees Chlöe and Moliy lay­er­ing their dis­tinc­tive melod­ic styles on­to the in­fec­tious Big Links Rid­dim, pro­duced by T&T hit­mak­ers Full Blown En­ter­tain­ment.

The buzz went in­ter­na­tion­al last week when Bill­board’s HipHop In­sta­gram page dropped the ex­clu­sive, plac­ing Yung Bred­da’s remix along­side trend­ing glob­al mu­sic news—from Drake and UMG’s le­gal show­down to Em­inem’s lat­est lyri­cal chal­lenge.

In an in­ter­view, Bred­da re­flect­ed on the whirl­wind jour­ney:

“The ex­cite­ment sur­round­ing the new remix is very hum­bling… I work very hard and ex­pect great re­sults, but I re­al­ly couldn’t pre­dict all of this hap­pen­ing so quick­ly. I give thanks to God for that.

“I met Chlöe in Bar­ba­dos and Moliy in Ja­maica dur­ing Reg­gae Sum­fest, and both of them are calm, cool and hum­ble peo­ple, just like me. That made it easy to con­nect. I’m grate­ful they came on board to help take so­ca to new lev­els and share our mu­sic and cul­ture with the world.”

The num­bers speak for them­selves: over 20 mil­lion streams, 92,000 Tik­Tok cre­ations, and count­ing. Now, with the Chlöe x Moliy remix drop­ping un­der the 0207 Def Jam/Poly­dor la­bel, the an­them is primed to dom­i­nate the UK Car­ni­val sea­son.

Ac­com­pa­ny­ing the remix is an of­fi­cial mu­sic video which cap­tures the en­er­gy of Caribbean cel­e­bra­tion with vi­brant scenes from Bar­ba­dos’ Crop Over fes­ti­val—serv­ing pure Car­ni­val vibes for a glob­al au­di­ence.

First re­leased in De­cem­ber 2024, The Great­est Bend Over (Take It Easy) quick­ly be­came the year’s break­out so­ca an­them. The mo­men­tum in­ten­si­fied dur­ing T&T’s 2025 Car­ni­val, where Yung Bred­da’s high-oc­tane per­for­mances car­ried him to sec­ond place in the Ul­ti­mate So­ca Cham­pi­on fi­nale.

Me­dia sup­port has al­so been piv­otal: BBC 1Xtra, Cap­i­tal Xtra, and Spo­ti­fy’s Who We Be playlist have all cham­pi­oned the track. Mean­while, Tik­Tok has turned the song in­to the fastest-grow­ing so­ca record across the Caribbean, pow­ered by user-gen­er­at­ed con­tent that con­tin­ues to spread its reach.

This lat­est remix comes on the heels of Yung Bred­da’s UK tour, which in­clud­ed a fiery per­for­mance at Matt’s BBQ Fes­ti­val along­side Ja­maican dance­hall star Ding Dong.

With Chlöe and Moliy now adding their voic­es and vi­su­als to the move­ment, The Great­est Bend Over (Take It Easy) has tran­scend­ed Car­ni­val an­them sta­tus. It’s now po­si­tion­ing it­self as a cer­ti­fied glob­al smash—a mile­stone mo­ment for so­ca mu­sic on the world stage.
