The ANSA McAL group has an­nounced that Pad­ma De Li­ma has been ap­point­ed as man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, Guyana Brew­eries Inc.

In a no­tice, the group con­firmed the ap­point­ment would take ef­fect on Oc­to­ber 1 2026.

ANSA McAL chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer, An­tho­ny N Sab­ga III, stat­ed in the no­tice that she will re­port di­rect­ly to the sec­tor head, bev­er­age. Adri­an N Sab­ga was sec­tor head, bev­er­age for the group in Ju­ly.

The ANSA McAL CEO said, “Guyana con­tin­ues to be a mar­ket of sig­nif­i­cant op­por­tu­ni­ty and strong growth for the bev­er­age sec­tor, and Pad­ma will have the plea­sure of lead­ing a high­ly ca­pa­ble team on the ground as the busi­ness en­ters its next era of de­vel­op­ment.

She brings more than 17 years of ex­pe­ri­ence with­in the group, hav­ing built a di­verse ca­reer span­ning con­sumer goods, con­struc­tion, sales, mar­ket­ing, and gen­er­al com­mer­cial man­age­ment.”

The no­tice ex­plained that be­fore her re­cent ap­point­ment as gen­er­al man­ag­er, ANSA McAL Dis­tri­b­u­tion Inc., De Li­ma served as di­vi­sion­al head, food and con­sumer.
