Atlantic LNG has partnered with Massy Wood Group for an exclusive three-year Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) agreement which demonstrates Atlantic’s commitment to delivering world-class performance and creating value for the organisation, its stakeholders and more broadly T&T.

In a news release issued by Atlantic yesterday, its chief executive officer, Ron Adams, expressed enthusiasm for this new phase of the relationship with Massy Wood Group.

"The evolution of this relationship, which brings together the industry expertise of Atlantic and the renowned capabilities of Massy Wood Group, supports the strategic direction of Atlantic as a transitioning organisation, where we seek to remain competitive, while continuously providing sustainable value for all our stakeholders and T&T," he said.

The statement further noted that the partnership has aligned with Atlantic's goal of future-proofing its operations, which allows for more flexibility and efficiency in its operations, noting that in this instance, enabling end-to-end engineering to execution, resulting in significant efficiencies including resourcing and cost competitiveness.

This agreement will also strengthen Atlantic's project delivery by leveraging Massy Wood Group's proven track record in engineering excellence and project and construction management.

"With Atlantic’s 25 years of LNG production experience and people expertise, this relationship is poised to contribute to the growth and resilience of the LNG industry by aligning with global standards, driving innovation, and providing value to our stakeholders," the statement added.

Atlantic is one of the world’s largest producers of LNG.

Jointly owned by affiliates of Shell, BP and the National Gas Company of T&T, its cargoes are delivered to multiple world-wide destinations in Europe, USA, South America, Asia and the Caribbean.

Massy Wood was incorporated in August 2003, as NM Wood Group Ltd. The company has undergone several amendments to its legal name since then.
