International ICT Distributor Nexsys International has assured its operators in Trinidad and Tobago that solutions are being sought to the foreign exchange concerns being faced by the country.
During the company’s Software Solution Breakfast Event on Friday entitled, “Utilizing Innovative and Effective ICT Solutions to Enable Accelerated and Sustainable Business Growth” held at the Brix, Nexsys Territory Manager Samantha Deoraj explained they were in discussions with their international partners about the international currency shortages in Trinidad and Tobago and its impact on business.
The event focused on international products from Microsoft and Adobe.
She said, “We understand the situation with the USD in Trinidad and Tobago and regionally as well. So we’re trying to put things in place locally. It’s still in discussions right now. But these are things that we are working on because we understand.”
Deoraj explained the company was exploring options such as wire transfers and credit lines to ensure seamless transactions.
She added, “I’ve communicated to the team in Miami, and they are aware of what the situation is in Trinidad and Tobago. I know you will work with us whether it be through wire transfer, credit line, etc. But again, we aim to really be here and support our partners so we’re trying to put things in place in terms of that.”
Deoraj said the Nexsys team would keep their partners and client updated on these payment options.
“At this time we have the credit line, the wire transfer, and the credit card to place orders. We’re hoping to locally support the wire transfers and processing. So again, as soon as we have an update on that and make any sort of movements you will be the first to know,” she told the event.
During the event Nexsys spoke to their business partners about the value of Microsoft Modern Workplace and Azure, Adobe Digital and E-Signatures, as well as strategies to accelerate the Digital Transformation push within the country as well as tips to become sustainable and efficient for their customers.
