While there have been more food park outlets opening in recent months, there have been some shake ups at some more established locations.
St James Marketplace, one of the earlier food park locations established in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, is set to close for good on March 31.
One its more popular outlets, Kaiso City Pizza, has confirmed that it will be winding down operations even before the food park’s final day.
In a post to social media earlier this week, Kaiso City Pizza’s flavour scientist Matthew K Vernette stated, ‘I have a bittersweet announcement to share. After many unforgettable moments at the St. James Marketplace, our pop-up will be saying goodbye to this location. While the St James Marketplace itself will be closing its gates for the last time on March 31st our last day of operation at that location will be March 29th. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us, while this is sudden rest assured it is just a pause, as we have exciting new plans on the horizon. Stay tuned, our next chapter is going to be amazing.”
Meanwhile, another well-known food brand Wrapworks Deli has also announced that it is up for sale after 16 years of operation.
The brand which has locations at Food Square on Ariapita Avenue and Brentwood Mall, posted a notice on social media stating it was available for acquisition.
This announcement has come just over a year after the brand moved from its original location on De Verteuil Street in Woodbrook to the Ariapita Avenue food park.
