TSTT has expressed disappointment over the decision of former workers to threaten legal action over tax forms.
The former TSTT employees, who accepted Voluntary Separation Packages in 2018, warned that they would take legal action if their former employer does not provide them with new TD4 forms in 21 days.
In a statement, TSTT said, “The company is engaged in ongoing communication with the attorneys representing the group and has not faltered in providing timely updates on the status and availability of the revised TD4 forms. TSTT is working closely with the Board of Inland Revenue to make the forms available in a timely manner and the group’s attorneys are kept abreast of all developments in this regard.”
TSTT said, “It has no interest in prolonging this matter. The company has given the group its full support and dedicated resources to bring this matter to a swift resolution. TSTT gives the assurance that it is working diligently to provide the revised TD4 forms to the group’s Attorneys in the shortest possible time.”
The company also rejected, “with contempt” allegations made by the ex-workers about non-payments to the Board of Inland Revenue.
In the statement, TSTT said, “Since the matter is before the court, TSTT will refrain from commenting further.”
