The Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion has an­nounced the award of schol­ar­ships based on the re­sults of the Caribbean Ad­vanced Pro­fi­cien­cy Ex­am­i­na­tions (CAPE) 2022.

The schol­ar­ships in the ten cog­nate groups are award­ed sole­ly based on aca­d­e­m­ic per­for­mance.

For aca­d­e­m­ic year 2021/2022, the Gov­ern­ment award­ed 100 schol­ar­ships - 32 Open and 68 Ad­di­tion­al.

Of the 100 schol­ar­ships, 72 per cent were award­ed to fe­male stu­dents while 28 per cent were award­ed to male stu­dents.
