A 19-year-old was killed in St. James on Fri­day night. Around 10:50 p.m. on March 21, 2025, of­fi­cers re­spond­ed to a re­port of a shoot­ing on Benares Street. They found a young man ly­ing on the pave­ment.

He has been iden­ti­fied as Ju­nior Cleary.  The of­fi­cers rushed him to St. James Hos­pi­tal. At 11:23 p.m., he was pro­nounced dead.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors processed the scene and re­cov­ered four .45-cal­iber spent shells, nine 9mm spent shells, and three de­formed bul­lets.
