A 34-year-old me­chan­ic and an­oth­er man were in­jured dur­ing a shoot­ing in­ci­dent at his birth­day lime at his Williamsville home yes­ter­day morn­ing.

The me­chan­ic, of Webb Street, was cel­e­brat­ing with fam­i­ly and friends un­der a shed at his home around 1.15 pm when a gun­man ap­proached and opened fire on them.

One of the bul­lets grazed him on his head while the oth­er vic­tim, a 21-year-old labour­er, was shot in his chest.

They were tak­en to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal for treat­ment.

In a sep­a­rate in­ci­dent, a 46-year-old man se­cured his black Hyundai Ac­cent mo­tor in his yard at Dal­loo Road, Gas­par­il­lo, around 11 pm on Tues­day. How­ev­er, around 5 am yes­ter­day he dis­cov­ered his ve­hi­cle val­ued at $80,000 miss­ing. Gas­par­il­lo po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing both in­ci­dents.
