A 34-year-old mechanic and another man were injured during a shooting incident at his birthday lime at his Williamsville home yesterday morning.
The mechanic, of Webb Street, was celebrating with family and friends under a shed at his home around 1.15 pm when a gunman approached and opened fire on them.
One of the bullets grazed him on his head while the other victim, a 21-year-old labourer, was shot in his chest.
They were taken to the San Fernando General Hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident, a 46-year-old man secured his black Hyundai Accent motor in his yard at Dalloo Road, Gasparillo, around 11 pm on Tuesday. However, around 5 am yesterday he discovered his vehicle valued at $80,000 missing. Gasparillo police are investigating both incidents.
