There are 26 new positive COVID-19 cases in Tobago over the past 24 hours, but fortunately, no new deaths.

That’s according to the latest update released by the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), for Thursday 10th February 2022.

This means the number of active positive cases is now 437.

In addition, the most recent COVID-19 death recorded in Tobago was on Tuesday February 8th—an unvaccinated person—and the island’s death toll remains at 238.

The Division’s update also reports that some 12 people currently are hospitalised with COVID-19. Of these, 10 have not been vaccinated at all against the disease, while two persons have been fully vaccinated.

The update also notes that a total of 6,178 people in Tobago have managed to recover from COVID-19.
