An Op­er­a­tion Stead­fast ex­er­cise in the Cen­tral Di­vi­sion led to the ar­rest of 29 per­sons and the seizure of a firearm and a quan­ti­ty of cannabis.

The op­er­a­tion was con­duct­ed be­tween Fri­day and Sat­ur­day, and in­volved of­fi­cers of the Cen­tral Di­vi­sion Task Force, In­ter-Agency Task Force, Ca­nine Branch, High­way Pa­trol Road Polic­ing Task Force, Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice, Li­cens­ing Of­fi­cers, and Traf­fic War­dens.

Four per­sons were ar­rest­ed for rob­bery with vi­o­lence, one for house­break­ing and lar­ce­ny, one for homi­cide en­quiries, 16 for out­stand­ing war­rants, one for pos­ses­sion of co­caine, one for lar­ce­ny en­quiries, and five for dri­ving with­out a valid dri­ver’s per­mit.

Of­fi­cers al­so seized one Glock pis­tol loaded with a mag­a­zine con­tain­ing 15 rounds of am­mu­ni­tion, a quan­ti­ty of cannabis, and one cam­ou­flage jack­et.
