Fam­i­lies, friends, and ac­tivists com­mem­o­rat­ed the sec­ond an­niver­sary of the deaths of the LM­CS divers at a Paria in­stal­la­tion with a pro­ces­sion through the streets of Cou­va on Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

They are ex­pect­ed to have a ral­ly of sol­i­dar­i­ty lat­er to­day, where they will lay flow­ers at the memo­r­i­al trees in ho­n­our of the men.

Divers Fyzal Kur­ban, Rishi Na­gas­sar, Yusuf Hen­ry and Kaz­im Ali Ju­nior died in 2022, af­ter they were sucked in­to a sub-sea pipeline while do­ing main­te­nance works.

Christo­pher Boodram was the on­ly div­er who sur­vived.
