Officers attached to the South Division Task Force arrested three suspects and seized quantities of illegal narcotics during crime eradication exercises yesterday.
The TTPS said between 8:00 pm and 12:00 midnight on Tuesday 21, November, officers conducted exercises across the division, which resulted in one man being arrested for possession of 67 grams of marijuana.
Another suspect was arrested for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking (11.7 grams) and the third suspect was arrested for obstructing a police officer.
The exercise was coordinated by Snr. Supt Hospedales, ASP Phillip and Insp. Ramlogan, was supervised by Sgt Joseph and Sgt Mason and was directly supervised by W/Cpl Plenty and included officers of the Southern Division Task Force.
