Three teenagers were arrested after they robbed and assaulted another group of teenagers. Police reported that around 7.35 pm on Monday, the three teen victims were walking along Lopinot Road, when three men accosted them.
The victims were made to kneel down and were beaten, before being robbed of a silver Motorola cellphone with cracks on the screen, a black wallet with $120 and identification cards, a ZTE cellphone, a bag containing personal documents and cards along with $140, and an iPhone 11 worth $1,500.
After robbing the teens, one of the bandits stuck his hand in the blouse of one of the victims and repeatedly grabbed her breasts before running off.
The thieves, all from Lopinot Road, Arouca included two 18-year-olds one of them known to the victims, and a 17-year-old, were later arrested.
