A joint law enforcement operation conducted on Saturday led to the discovery of a cannabis grow house and the seizure of 32 cannabis plants in Roxborough.

Acting on intelligence, officers of the Tobago Divisional Task Force, supported by the Canine Unit, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)/Guard and Emergency Branch (GEB), and the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment, executed a coordinated intelligence-led raid and search operation between 11 am and 2 pm in the Rose Hill, Delaford area.

During the operation, officers secured the area and conducted searches of several houses. At one of the residences, they discovered a grow house containing multiple cannabis plants. A total of 32 fully grown cannabis trees were seized at the location and two suspects were arrested in connection with the find. The narcotics seized has an estimated street value of $13,000.
