The pass­ing of an­oth­er COVID-19 pa­tient has moved the na­tion­al death toll for the dis­ease to 70, as of this af­ter­noon, Fri­day 25 Sep­tem­ber 2020.

In its lat­est up­date, the Min­istry of Health re­ports that this lat­est vic­tim is an el­der­ly male with pre-ex­ist­ing health con­di­tions.

Al­so in its up­date this af­ter­noon, the Min­istry says 17 ad­di­tion­al per­sons have test­ed COVID-19 pos­i­tive.

These new cas­es bring the na­tion­al to­tal for ac­tive cas­es to 2,085.

Mean­while, the Health Min­istry says more pos­i­tive pa­tients are re­cov­er­ing, with the num­ber of re­cov­ered com­mu­ni­ty cas­es ris­ing to 1,217.
